Well in less than a week I will be attending the Fitness America 2011 competition. Last yr this time I was vigorously preparing and focusing on being the very best i could be in physique and routine. I remember my journey to becoming the 2010 Fitness America champion. I gave 110 % on every routine practice, workout and calculated meal prep.  Like any competition prep there were bumps in the road with suits getting lost in the mail to people trying to send doubt my way but in the end no matter what happened my strong resolve to achieve my goal prevailed!

For those of you getting ready for this years FAP, I say congratulations in advance because no matter your placing if you gave it all you got than you are a champion! I know the sweat, focus, and sometimes tears :) that goes into being a competitor and I applaud the hard work, dedication, and heart each one of you brings to the stage. I hope you all think about your journey and are proud of your accomplishments. What we do is so unique and special and I believe only truly understood by the other beautiful and  strong women who grace the stage with us!! I am so excited to be in the audience to cheer everyone of you on. :)

I hated every minute of training, but I said, “Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”
